EXH�B€T"A" <br /> EC2UAL EMPLOYti1EN� OPPORTUNITY C�..AUBE required by the illinois Fair Empiayment <br /> Practices <br /> Commission as a material term of all public contracts: <br /> EQUAL EMPLOYM�NT OPPORTUNiTY <br /> In the event of the contractor`s noncompiiance with any provision 'of this �qual <br /> Ernployment Opportunity Cfause, the lllinois Fair Employment Practices Act or th� Fair <br /> Ernployment Practioes Commission's Rufes and Regulatiions for Public cantracts, the cantractor <br /> may be d�clared nanresponsible and therefore ineligible for fuh.rre contracts or subcontracts <br /> with the State of Illinois or any of its politicaf subdivisian or municipal corporations, and the <br /> contract may� be canceled or avoided in whole or in pa�t, and such okher sanctions or �enalties <br /> may be irrpase�d or remedies invaked as provided by statute or regu�atian. <br /> During the performance of this cantract, the contraetor agrees as follows: <br /> {1) That it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for empl�yment <br /> because of race, color, religidr, sex, natforal �rigin or ancestry; an� further that it wll! examine <br /> a11 job classifcations to determine if minority persons or wamen are under-utilized and will take <br /> approp�iat� affirmat�ve action to rectify any such under-utilization. <br /> (2) That, if it hires additional srnployees in order to perform this contract, or any <br /> po�tian her�af, it will determine the �vailability (in �ccordance wi�h the Commission's Rules an� <br /> Regulations for Public Contracts) af minarities and women in the area(s} from which ik m�y <br /> reascnabIy recruit and it wiSl hir� f�r each jab classificafiion far which employees are hi;ed in <br /> such a way that minorities and women are not under-utilized. <br /> (3) That, in al! solicitations or aduertisements for employess placed by it �r on i;s <br /> behalf, ft will sta:e that all applicants will be afforded equal opportunity without disc�imination <br /> a�caus� of race, color, religion, sex, na:ional origin or ances#ry. <br /> (4) That it wiA send to each labor o�ganizatian or representative af tivorlcers �tiith <br /> which i� has or ;s bound by a colfective bargaining ar other agreement or understandina, a <br /> n�tice ativising such labor organ�zation or representative af the contractor's obligati�ns under <br /> the Ilfinois Fair Employment Practices Act and the Commission's Rules and Regulations for <br /> Public Con�rac:s. If any such labor organization or representative fails flr refuses to co�perate <br /> with the contractor in its efforts to comply with such Act �nd Ruies and Regu!atians, ths <br /> �ont;actor wilf promptiy s� noiify the lllinois Fair Employment Practices Commission and th� <br /> c�ntracting agency and will recruit employees from other sources when ne�essary to fulfil! its � <br /> obligations thereunder. I <br /> (5) That it will submit reports as required by the Illinois Fair Employment Prac�ices <br /> Commission's Rules and Regulations for Public Contracts, fumish a1l relevant inf�rmafion as <br /> may from time to time be requested by the Cornmission or th� contractirg agency, and in a;i <br /> respects comply with the !Il�nais �air Employment Practices Act and the Commissien's Rufes <br /> and Regulatiens for Public Contracts. <br />
