R2002-214 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF AN <br /> APPLICATION TO THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> COMMERCE AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS (DCCA) FOR GRANT <br /> �'UNDING AVAILABLE THROUGH THE ILLINOIS EMERGENCY <br /> SHELTER GRANTS PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Decatur hereby authorizes the City's approval <br /> in the Emergency Shelter Grants Program to be administered by DOVE; and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the request of DOVE, Inc., the City of Decatur is approving the <br /> application of DOVE, Inc. to the State of Illinois Departrnent of Commerce and Community <br /> Affairs for grant funding available through the Emergency Shelter Grants Program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur shall endorse and�pprove a grant through the Emergency <br /> Shelter Grants Program as requested by DOVE, Inc. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor or City Manager, as the case may be, be, and they are hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to sign and execute any agreements or other documents authorized <br /> hereby, on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 2002. <br /> _---- <br /> T M.
