E., City Enginee�� <br /> SUBJECT: Water Service Agreement for 3990 West Center Street <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing a <br /> Water Service Agreement between the City of Decatur and the property owner for 3990 West <br /> Center Street. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In 1995 the City extended a 12 inch water main on West Center Street as part of an annual water <br /> main extension project. Properties along these water line extensions periodically request <br /> permission to tap into the line to service their properties which are located outside of the City <br /> limits. To service these properties, a Water Service Agreement must be entered into between the <br /> City and the property owners. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this <br /> resolution and agreement. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br />
