Perry, Purchasing Supervisor�� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for Roof Replacement <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding a contract to Top Quality <br /> Roofing Co., Inc. to furnish one (1) Firestone roof replacement for Fire Station #7 located at <br /> 1250 Airport Road. <br /> BACKGROUND: This roof system will replace the original roof that was installed when the �� <br /> station was built in 1970. �' <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. � <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The roof replacement was requested by the Fire <br /> Department and they wrote the bid specifications. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Les Albert, Fire Chief 424-2811, and James Gillen, Battalion Chief <br /> 424-2811. Chief Albert will be at the council meeting to answer any questions the council may <br /> have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $36,900 from the Capital Improvement budget. <br />
