Perry, Purchasing Supervisor� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for long bed pick up truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Northtown Ford <br /> to furnish one (1) 2003 Ford F250 super cab 4 x 41ong bed pick up truck. <br /> .a <br /> BACKGROUND: This truck will be used for the Lake Decatur dredging project. It will be used <br /> for transporting the City crew to the dredge site each day and for pulling the fusion machine to <br /> the required location. A large fuel tank will be installed in the bed of this truck which will be <br /> used to fuel equipment at the dredge site. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Water Services requested the unit and Fleet Maintenance <br /> wrote the bid specifications. They recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Keith Alexander, Water Management Director 424-2863, Steve <br /> Yeager, Water Services Manager 875-5705. Keith Alexander will be at the council meeting to <br /> answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $28,375 from the Lake Capital Project Fund. <br />
