Barry Leonard, Risk Manager / <br /> � <br /> SUBJECT: Gallagher Bassett Services Contract <br /> Gallagher Bassett Services (GB) provides claims handling, claims information, and loss <br /> control. We will begin the third year of a three-year contract on October 1, 2002. GB has <br /> offered to extend the contract for two more years. The extension would make GB's services <br /> coincidental with A. J. Gallagher, the insurance broker, at expiration. <br /> GB has guaranteed rate increases of no more than 4% for claims handling in each of the <br /> years. Staff does recommend the contract be extended. <br />
