A detailed breakdown of the scope of 'I <br /> services is shown on the spreadsheets that are included as Attachment A to this Agreement. <br /> Existing Site Phase I Study Investigate, study and provide the Owner with a report that deternunes the <br /> feasibility of rehabilitating the existing sediment storage basin to accept additional sediment from the dredging of <br /> Basin 6 of Lake Decatur. This work includes project administration,project management, data collection, <br /> environmental and engineering studies,public involvement activities, and reclamation studies. <br />'� Existing Site Phase II Desi� This work is based upon the Phase I feasibility study concluding that it is feasible <br /> for the existing basin to be rehabilitated.Phase II Design work includes project administration,project <br /> management,data gathering,environmental analysis,obtaining of necessary permits,preparation of construction <br /> lans s ecifications estimates of ro a 1 <br /> , , b b e costs re aration of land ac uisition documents reclamatio <br /> P P p ,p p q , n studies, <br /> public involvement activities, and assistance to Owner for letting and award of construction contract. <br /> New Site Phase I Studv This work consists of performing preliminary feasibility studies for siting new <br /> sediment storage site(s). The new site(s)would be used if it is determined to be more feasible than reusing the <br /> existing site or if the existing site cannot be rehabilitated.This work includes project administration,project <br /> management,data gathering,environmental and engineering studies,public involvement activities, and <br /> reclamation studies. <br /> Phase III Construction Activities T'his work includes providing technical assistance to the Owner in the <br /> selection and purchasing of dredging equipment and in the training of dredge operation personnel. It also includes <br /> providing construction engineering administration, observation and layout services during the construction phase <br /> of the project. <br /> All of the conditions outlined in City's Request For Proposal, Section II Consultant Reporting,paragraphs A <br /> through E pertaining to the report format,number of copies to be submitted, content of the report, and <br /> coordination of the project with the City will be met. Once that review and approval from the necessary <br /> governmental agencies is received in a reasonable time period,the engineering services will be completed in time <br /> for the City to be able to Advertise for and Process Bids for the sediment storage site construction from mid May <br /> 2001 to mid July 2001. <br /> 1 <br />
