As used in this Agreement, the following terms shall have the <br /> meanings set forth below: <br /> (a) Ticket is defined as an underground facility locate request as defined by <br /> the State One Call Center. Multiple locates/billing units may be identified on one Ticket. <br /> (b) State One Call Center is defined as the State agency that operates and <br /> provides the service of receiving excavation notices and notifying utility owners/members of <br /> said excavation <br /> (c) Locate Price is determined by the type of service and the number of <br /> underground facilities located by GPLS within the locate area and is based on the prices in <br /> E�ibit A. <br /> (d) Locate, the basic billing unit, is defined as a single (one) address, <br /> intersection or 250 linear feet of property frontage, whichever is less or smaller, per <br /> underground facility. <br /> (e) Emer�ency Locate is defined by the State One Call Center. <br /> Emergency Locates performed during the standard working hours will be performed at the <br /> prices listed in E�ibit A. <br /> (fl After Hours Emergency Locate is defined as an Emergency Locate <br /> occurring outside of the standard working hours. After Hours Emergency Locates will be <br /> performed at the prices listed under After Hours Emergency Rate in E�ibit A. <br /> (g) E�ended Locate is defined as a Locate exceed'mg 1/z hour per utility, <br /> but no more than 8 hours. <br /> (h) Project is defined as "the same work, for the same contractor, in the <br /> same general locate area" that exceeds 8 hours in any standard working hours day. <br /> (i) E�ctraordinary Project is defined as "the same work for the same <br /> contractor in the same general locate area" that exceeds 8 hours and requires GPLS to add <br /> any personnel or the addition of any capital assets. In the event that GPLS is confronted with <br /> an E�raordinary Project, GPLS retains the right to (1) perform the work at the Project rate <br /> until GPLS elects option (2) or (3); (2) decline the work without penalty; or (3) negotiate a <br /> new price. <br /> (j) Site Surveillance/Stand By Services is defined as the physical <br /> supervision of a dig site, at the CITY'S request. <br /> -2- <br />
