Liability or financial responsibility. <br /> 15 (a) Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to affect or <br /> 16 determine the financial responsibility for any operation <br /> 17 under this Act or liability of any person for any damages <br /> 18 that occur unless specifically stated otherwise. <br /> 19 (b) Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to provide for <br /> 20 liability or financial responsibility of the Department of <br /> 21 Transportation, its officers and employees concerning any <br /> 22 underground utility facility or CATS facility located on <br /> 23 highway right-of-way by permit issued under the provisions of <br /> 24 Section 9-113 of the Illinois Highway Code. It is not the <br /> 25 intent of this Act to change any remedies in law regarding <br /> 26 the duty of providing lateral support. <br /> 27 (c) Neither the State-Wide One-Call Notice System nor <br /> 28 any of its officers, aqents, or employees shall be liable for <br /> 29 damaqes for iniuries or death to persons or damage to <br /> 30 propertv caused by acts or omissions in the receipt, <br /> 31 recordina, or transmission of locate requests or other <br /> 32 information in the performance of ite duties as the <br />
