R2002-158 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> -355 NORTH WATER STREET- <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> negotiate and execute an agreement with the DECATUR-MACON COUNTY SENIOR <br /> CENTER, INC. (the "CENTER") for the purchase by the City of the real property commonly <br /> known as 355 North Water Street, in the City of Decatur, Illinois, said agreement to be consistent <br /> with the terms and conditions set out on Exhibit A hereto, and said officer is hereby further <br /> authorized and directed to cause payrnent to be made to the CENTER in accordance with said <br /> agreement and to accept conveyance of said property and to otherwise do that which is necessary <br /> to effect the provisions hereof. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of August, 2002. <br /> � <br /> y � <br /> _ j __ <br /> ,� <br /> TERR M.
