S. Geological Survey operates streamflow gaging stations on the Sangamon River at , <br /> Monticello, Illinois, and the State Route 48 Bridge downstream of the Lake Decatur Dam. The � <br /> stations are essential for monitoring the amount of water entering and leaving Lake Decatur. For '� <br /> approximately 15 years, the City has participated in similar Joint Funding Agreements in order to <br /> provide adequate funding to operate the two stations.
