Alexander, Director of Water Management � <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Lake Decatur Basin 6 Dredging <br /> Sediment Storage Facility&Dredge Mobilization Site Construction <br /> City Project 9956 <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> City staff recommends Council approval to award the Sediment Storage Facility & Dredge <br /> Mobilization Site Construction Contract to the lowest qualified bidder, Koester Contracting. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This contract consists of the rehabilitation of the City's existing Sediment Storage Facility and <br /> the construction of a Dredge Mobilization and Operations Site adjacent to Basin 6 of Lake <br /> Decatur. <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by Homer L. Chastain & Associates, LLP, <br /> and was advertised on June 19, 2002.
