, � � , <br /> . �� <br /> 2 . Routine Maintenance Services : The Sanitary District <br /> of Decatur shall provide the following maintenance services at <br /> the above pump stations : <br /> 1 . Check the equipment and operation; , <br /> 2 . Clean the electrodes (where applicable) ; <br /> 3 . Lubricate areas that require lubrication; <br /> I 4 . Clean bar screens (where applicable) ; <br /> 5 . Perform routine preventative maintenance; <br /> I6 . Provide routine m.aintenance and repair; � <br />� 7 . Cut and trim grass; I <br /> 8 . Paint and provide general housekeeping; and � <br /> 9 . Remove grease accumulations with the Vactor at 'i <br /> least every three months, but more frequently, if ' <br /> required. <br /> The routine maintenance described above shall be performed <br /> at Green Oaks, Grays Lane and Taylor Avenue pump stations three <br /> times per week. All other CITY owned pump stations shall <br /> receive the above routine maintenance twice per week. <br /> 3 . Maintenance Costs : The CITY shall pay to the Sanitary <br /> District of Decatur, $47, 733 . 28 . The payments shall <br /> be made on a quarterly basis . The quarterly payment <br /> in the amount of $11, 933 . 32 shall be due from the CITY <br /> to the DISTRICT on the lst day of April, July, October <br /> and January. In addition to the maintenance costs, all <br /> actual costs for equipment, repair parts and/or costs <br /> of installation purchased by the District will be <br /> billed to the City. The District sha�l notify the <br /> City in advance of any major repairs and/or <br /> improvements whenever possible . <br /> ❖ Any overtime required maintaining the pump <br /> stations to be absorbed by the District . <br /> ❖ The District will have personnel available 24 <br /> hours per day for emergency responses . <br /> ❖ The owner of the pump stations will pay the <br /> utility costs . <br /> 4 . Term: The parties agree that the term of this <br /> Agreement shall be from May 2002 and continuing until <br /> termination/modifications as detailed in item 5 below. <br />
