S. Department of <br />' Housing and Urban Development and rated outstanding. Staff requests City Council's acceptance <br /> of the plan for use of the City's federal entitlement program funds for FY 2002-03 per the <br /> attached resolution. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In accordance with the guidelines of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, <br /> Nei hborhood Renewal develo s an Annual Action Plan describin fundin allocations for the <br /> g P g g <br /> upcoming year along with strategic implementation of the priorities identified in the City's five <br /> year Consolidated Plan. The sub recipient public service grants approved by the City Council on <br /> February 4, 2002 are one part of the Annual Action Plan. <br /> The plan was submitted on March 15, 2002. After review, HUD gave the City of Decatur's plan <br /> an outstanding rating.
