Our proposal includes the specified products and methods
described in the Black & Veatch specification manual you provided us for
reference. The cable is in stock at the factory but should be ordered very soon to
secure the materials. We understand the rented generator will provide power to I
the pump house while all cable pulling is accomplished to minimize lethal risk to
personnel. Our proposal does not include consumables for the generator or
rental fees. We have not included taxes or permit fees, but have made
allowances for inspections. We understand the completion date is May 30, 2002
and intend to mobilize upon Notice to Proceed. The work should take about
four weeks from start to finish.
Our price is $71,800.00. SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT
HUNDRED DOLLARS.
If your accounting department needs this broken into new work versus
demolition work for tax purposes, we are prepared to help.
Respectfully,
L /J.,-..,-
Joseph J. Saban
President, Modern Electric Company
of Illinois
