R2002-70 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT <br /> CONCRETE PAVEMENT JOINT REPAIRS <br /> CITY PROJECT 2002-18 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2002-18, Concrete <br /> Pavement Joint Repairs, and presented herewith be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Kinney Contractors, Inc., be accepted and a contract awarded, <br /> accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed <br /> to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Kinney Contractors, Inc., for said <br /> plan for their bid price of$673,510.00. <br /> Section 4. That the City Manager and the Director of Engineering and Infrastructure be, <br /> and they are hereby, authorized to increase the contract amount by $67,000 to facilitate the <br /> improvement of additional concrete joint repairs, and said officers and the City Clerk be, and <br /> they are hereby, further authorized and directed to execute documents to effect said increase. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of April, 2002. <br /> �,-.. <br /> Terry M.
