'i � <br /> - 2. Construction Guidance-Furnish Guidance Services during the construction period generally � <br /> comprised of the following: <br /> a. Consult with the CITY and with the Contractor on interpretation of plans and <br /> specifications and regarding any changes under consideration as construction <br /> proceeds. <br /> b. Provide periodic job site inspection by the ENGINEER,or his representatives,during <br /> the construction period. <br /> c. Prepare and submit all payment estimates, change orders, records, and reports <br /> required by the CTTY. <br /> d. Safeguard the CITY against defects and deficiencies on the part ofthe contractor,but <br /> the ENGINEER does not guarantee the performance of the contract by the <br /> contractor. <br /> e. Conduct final inspection of construction and prepare final papers and reports. <br /> f. Revise contract drawings to show location and nature of improvement as actually <br /> constructed and supply "as built" drawings to the CITY. <br /> g. Inspect the contractor's operations for compliance with the plans and specifications <br /> and the keeping of complete project records. <br /> h. Check all shop and workirig drawings. <br /> i. Review and check all reports by testing laboratories on equipment and material tested. <br /> 3. Insurance <br /> A. The limits of liability for the insurance required by the AGREEMENT are as follows: <br /> 1. By ENGINEER <br /> a. Workers' Compensation Statutory <br /> b. Employer's Liability-- <br /> 1) Each Accident $ 500.000 <br /> 2) Disease, Policy Limit $ 500,000 <br /> 3) Disease, Each Employee $ 500,000 <br /> c.
