Perry, Purchasing Supervisor�� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for Full Size Utility Vehicle <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Miles Chevrolet <br /> for one (1) 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe full size utility vehicle. <br /> BACKGROUND: Replaces a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria police pursuit vehicle currently in <br /> service. <br /> This will be a command vehicle which will be on the street at all times. The vehicle will carry <br /> � . crisis response equipment. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Unit requested by Police Department and Fleet <br /> Maintenance wrote the bid specifications. Both recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Phil Wilhelm, MSC Manager 875-4820, Deborah M. Perry, Purchasing <br /> Supervisor 424-2762. Phil Wilhelm will be at the council meeting to answer any questions <br /> council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET:� $27,896 from Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
