R2002-06 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT <br /> FOR A CAPITAL ASSISTANCE GRANT <br /> -ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur enter into a certain Illinois Department of <br /> Transportation Capital Assistance Agreement, contract#3264, CAP-02-792-FED, ("Agreement") <br /> with the State of Illinois in order to obtain grant assistance under the provisions of the Civil <br /> Administrative Code of Illinois (Part 8.5), 20 ILCS 2705/49 et sea•; the Civil Administrative <br /> Code of Illinois (Part 9), 20 ILCS 5/51; and the General Obligation Bond Act, 30 ILCS 330/4 <br /> ("Acts"). <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they <br /> are hereby, authorized and directed to execute, seal and attest the Agreement on behalf of the <br /> City of Decatur. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager and the Mass Transit Administrator of the City of <br /> Decatur be, and they are hereby, authorized to provide such information and to file such <br /> documents as may be required to perform the Agreement and to receive the Grant. <br /> PRESENTET� AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January, 2002. <br /> ��'�� � <br /> TERRY M.
