The COMPANY shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color,national origin or sex in <br /> the selection and retention of contractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. <br /> The COMPANY shall include this provision in every sub agreement, including procurement of <br /> materials and leases of equipmern. <br /> Failure to carry out the requiremerns set forth above shall constitute a breach of agreemern and <br /> may result in termination of the agreement or such remedy as deemed appropriate. In the event any <br /> work is performed by other than the COMPANY forces the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act <br /> approved June 26, 1941, as amended, shall prevail. <br /> SECTION 14. The COMPANY certifies that neither it nor any substantially-owned affiliated <br /> company is participating or shall participate in an intemational boycott in violation of provisions of the <br /> U.S. Export Administration Act of 1979 or the regulaxions of the U.S. Depaztment of Commerce <br /> promulgated under that Act. <br /> SECTION 15. This Agreemerrt shall be binding upon the parties hereto, their successors or <br /> assigns. <br /> SECTION 16. The COMPANY shall complete all work or shall be responsible that all work is <br /> completed by other forces within six (6) months of the date of the fully executed agreement. In the evenl � <br /> that all work cannot be completed within six (6) months,the COMPANY shall notify the CTTY in writing <br /> the cause for the delay before the si�c-month deadline has e�cpired. Otherwise, the CITY will consider <br /> peritioning the Illinois Commerce Commission to order the work to be completed. <br /> SECT'ION 17. At the time this Agreeme�t was e�cecuted, there were funds available for the <br /> project; however, obligations assumed by the CITY under this Agreemern shall cease immediately,without <br />
