, 4 The COMPANY shall maintaiq for a minimum of 5 years after the completion of the contract, adequate books, records, and supporting documents to verify the amount, recipieuts, and uses of a11 disbursements of funds passing in conjunction with the contract; the contractt and all books, records, and supporting docume�ts related to the cornract shall be available for review and audit by the CTTY or State of Illinois and the COMPANY agrees to cooperate fully with any audit conducted by the CTTY and to provide full access to a11 relevant materials. Fa.ilure to maintain the books, records, and supporting documeirts required by this section sha11 establish a presumption in favor of the CTTY for the recovery of any funds paid by the CTTY under the contract for which adequate books, records, and supporting ' documentation are not available to support their purport�disbursement. SECTION 7. The crossing urterconnect system should be plar,ed in service immediately after the installation of the traffic signal system is completed. The COMPANY shall notify the CTTY in writing of the date of the complet�ed installation. The CTTY will perform a final inspection upon receiving the written notificaxion. SECTION 8. When construction of this project is completed, and so long as State law shall so require, the COMPANY shall maintain at its expense or, by agreement with others, provide for maintena.nce of the railroad crossing interconnection devices. SECTION 9. If at any time subsequent to the completion of this improvemeut, the tracks in the azea of the crossing aze eliminated for any reason whatsoever,then the said interconnection system may be removed, relocated and reinstalled at another grade crossing of the COMPANY mutually designated and agreed to by the parties hereto and subject to the approval of the public authorities having any jurisdiction. The reinstalled signal system shall thereafter be subject to the terms of this agreement.
