, .
. + . ,
APPENDIX A
1. Command Post, Security Gates and Fencing. To prevent unauthorized entry to the 3rd and
4t floors of the garage, ADM will fence along the barrier wall between the 2"d floor ramp
and 3ra floor and install security gates for both inbound and outbound traffic. (see
attachment for preliminary view of gates.) The gates will open and close automatically
according to the specified hours of operation when the security officer is present. After
hours, the inbound gate may be opened with either a valid ADM access control badge or a
valid pin number by means of a combination proximity reader/keypad. Loop detection
will be configured to allow automatic gate operation for exit after the designated hours of
operation. The command post will contain monitoring equipment for the emergency call
stations access control and video cameras. Power and communications for all of the
security systems will be provided in the command post.
2. Electronic Access Control and Key Control. Electronic access control will be configured
for the Southeast stairwell and elevator access to the 3ra and 4`h floors. The Southwest and
two North stairwells will be secured to prevent access from the stairwell side without
authorization. The existing door hardware will be replaced with mechanical emergency
bars. Door position monitoring will alert security to any forced entry or unlatched
stairwell doors. Authorized visitors parking in the garage will be issued a pin number to
access the stairwell doors or elevator set with an automatic expiration date to prevent
access after the authorized period.
3. Closed Circuit Television System. CCTV cameras will be placed in the elevator, elevator
corridor, at the entrance gate, the exit gate and lst, 2"a, 3ra and 4th floor decks to allow for
supervision of the stairwell entrances to each respective floor. The video will be recorded
on a digital video recorder in the command post. A wide area network connection to the
recorders will be installed to permit after hour viewing by the Global Training Center
guard or Dispatch.,
4. Emergency Call Stations. Emergency call stations, including appropriate signage shall be
placed in the elevator corridor, elevator, 3rd and 4th floor, Southeast stairwell landings and
centered on the lst, 2"a, 3`a and 4th floors to provide a means for employee's visitors and
the public to notify the command post of an emergency situation. A separate intercom
button will be provided on the call station to allow to request assistance for non-
emergency items such as vehicle trouble or problems accessing the garage. After the
designated business hours when the security officer is present, the call station calls will be
forwarded to the Global Training Center or Dispatch.
