. � ,, <br /> LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT between the City of Decatur, Illinois ("City"), a municipal <br /> corporation, and Archer-Daniels-Midland, a Delaware corporation("ADM"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. ADM is purchasing from Illinois Power that real property commonly known as <br /> 247 E. North Street, Decatur, Illinois (`the building"), and more particularly described as: <br /> Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Allen-McReynolds and Cos. Addition as per plat <br /> recorded in Book G, Page 365 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; <br /> B. ADM desires to insure that its employees, customers and invitees using the <br /> building will have adequate parking which is conveniently located; <br /> C. The City desires that ADM locate a facility in downtown Decatur; <br /> D. The City owns and operates a multi-story public parking facility ("Garage B"), 170 <br /> E. North Street, Decatur, Illinois, located within one (1)block of the building; <br /> E. The City is willing to lease parking spaces within Garage B to ADM on the terms <br /> and conditions set out in this Lease. <br /> TERMS <br /> In consideration of the promises and obligations contained herein, the city and ADM <br /> agree as follows: <br /> 1(a). The City does hereby demise and lease to ADM, the following described <br /> premises: The top two floors of Garage B, including the ramp between the third floor and <br /> the fourth floor,but excluding the ramp between the second floor and the third floor. <br /> Such spaces are to be used by ADM exclusively for the use of its employees, customers, and <br />
