RESOLUTION NO. RZ001-226 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF AN <br /> APPLICATION TO THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> COMMERCE AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS (DCCA) FOR GRANT <br /> FUNDING AVAILABLE THROUGH THE ILLINOIS EMERGENCY <br /> SHELTER GRANTS PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Decatur hereby authorizes the City's approval <br /> in the Emergency Shelter Grants Program to be administered by Water Street Mission Ministries <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the request of Water Street Mission Ministries, the City of Decatur is <br /> approving the application of Water Street Mission Ministries to the State of Illinois Department <br /> of Commerce and Community Affairs for grant funding available through the Emergency Shelter <br /> Grants Program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur shall endorse and approve a grant through the Emergency <br /> Shelter Grants Program as requested by Water Street Mission Ministries. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor or City Manager, as the case may be, be, and they are hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to sign and execute any agreements or other documents authorized <br /> hereby, on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this l Oth day of December, 2001. <br /> TERRY M.
