R2001-192 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT <br /> FOR FY-2002 TRANSIT OPERATING ASSISTANCE GRANT <br /> -ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur enter into a certain Downstate Public Transportation <br /> Operating Assistance Agreement, contract#3183, OP-02-08-IL, ("Agreement") with the State of <br /> Illinois in order to obtain grant assistance under the provisions of the Illinois Downstate Public <br /> Transportation Act(30 ILCS 740/2-1, et se .) <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized and directed to execute, seal and attest the Agreement on behalf of the City of <br /> Decatur. I <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager and the Mass Transit Administrator of the City of Decatur <br /> be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to provide such information and to file such <br /> documents as may be required to perform the Agreement and to receive the Grant. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of October, 2001. �, <br /> RRY M.
