6. The City will assume, at it's expense, all cost to repair or replace all parts and <br /> components normally consumed in day-to-day operations such as: tires, tubes, tire repairs, <br /> lubricating oil, filters of all types, grease, fuel, anti-freeze, cutting edges, batteries, headlights, <br /> glass breakage, wire rope,belts, brake linings, cleaning and painting. <br /> 7. Martin shall have a parts availability policy to supply the City with new parts <br /> within 48 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays) or will furnish the parts upon request <br /> at no cost. Parts covered in this guarantee are those new parts required for normal repairs and <br /> maintenance necessary to keep the machine operating in a day-to-day operation. <br /> 8. The City will maintain equipment in accordance with normal published <br /> manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> 9. Martin has the right to inspect equipment during normal warking hours at the City I <br /> and make recommendations for repairs, improved maintenance, etc., in keeping with the ��� <br /> requirements stated by the manufacturer in the shop manual for the maintenance and repair of the I� <br /> piece of equipment. <br /> 10. Martin will be fully responsible for the total cost of all repairs (other than in <br /> Paragraph 6) to the equipment on the following Power Train items, in excess of the guaranteed <br /> maximum cost of repairs (as indicated on Exhibit A) for the time of operation in hours, or period <br /> of time in years, from the date of delivery, whichever occurs first (as indicated on Exhibit A). <br /> Engine, torque converter, transmission, drive shafts, universal joints, differential, transfer gear <br /> group, drive axles, drive pumps, drive motor, pinion and bevel gear, steering clutches, steering <br /> brakes, final drive gear trains (up to, but not including the sprockets or tires), fuel pump and <br /> turbocharger. <br />
