Krieger, sistant City Manage : <br /> Hala Ahmed, nvironmental Progr s ecialist`� �, <br /> SUBJECT: Agreement with Decatur Community Partnership for Turning Point Leaf Raking <br /> Proj ect <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: City Staff recommends approval of the attached <br /> resolution, which when approved, will authorize the City to reimburse Decatur Community <br /> Partnership (DCP) for managing the Turning Point Leaf Raking Project. <br /> BACKGROUND: Since 1998, Decatur Community Partnership has operated a Fall program <br /> utilizing volunteers to assist elderly and/or disabled residents in the collection and disposal of <br /> their leaves. The City of Decatur has provided funds for DCP, on a reimbursement basis, to <br /> operate this program. Last year the program serviced 900 residents. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: Staff is not aware of any organized opposition at this time. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Please refer to the attached agreement.
