Alexander, Director of Water Management �� �I <br /> SUBJECT: I <br /> Lake Decatur Basin 6 Dredging Project ; <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the reuse of the City's <br /> existing sediment storage site in Oakley Township. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Homer L. Chastain & Associates was retained by the City to conduct a Lake Decatur Basin 6 <br /> Dredging and Sediment Storage Site Study(copy attached). The recommendation of the Study is <br /> for the City to reuse its storage site in Oakley Township, as discussed on Page 4-19. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> Potential minor objections from Oakley Township regarding their site maintenance preferences. <br /> A site maintenance advisory committee is currently being established to address these concerns. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> Several public meetings <br /> Homer L.
