C-95-007-01 <br /> Agreement No. JN-501017 <br /> Contract No. 70151 <br /> A�REEMENT <br /> , <br /> This a reement, entered into this �� da of ��_ , A.D���-(l , b and <br /> g � Y _ Y <br /> between the STATE OF ILLINOIS actin b and ttu�ou h ' s �EPART'MENT OF <br /> , Y g <br /> � <br /> TRANSPORTATION hereinafter called the STATF.,, and City of Decatur, in Macon County, of <br /> the State of Illinois, hereinafter called the CITY. <br /> WI'TNESSETH <br /> WHFREAS, the STATE in order to facilitate the free flow of traffic and insure safety to the <br /> motoring public, is desirous of installing new traffic signals at the intersection of US Route 36 (FAP <br /> Route 320) with 36`h St., the work consisting of the installation of new signal pasts, signal heads, a <br /> new controller, controller cabinet, video detection system, and installing combination mast arms for <br /> highway lightin� requested by the CITY; and by performing all other work necessary to comple.te <br /> the improvement in accordance with approved plans and specifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY is desirous of said improvement in that same will be of immediate <br /> benefit to the CITY's residents and permanent in nature, and; <br /> NOW, TH�REFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties <br /> agree as follows: <br /> 1. The STATE aQrees to make the surveys, obtain all necessary right-of-way, prepare plans and <br /> specifications,�receive bids and award the contract, furnish engineering inspection during <br /> constniction and cause the improvement to be built in accordance with the plans, <br /> specifications, and contract. <br /> l. The S'I'ATF, agrzes to pay all rights-of-way, construction and engineering costs subject to <br /> reimbursemen� by the CITY. <br /> i <br />
