i RESOLUTION NO. R2001-91 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH DECATUR TAXI.INCORPORATED WHEREAS on September 18, 2000, the City Council approved an Agreement with Decatur Taxi, Inc., to provide t�i service under the Transit System's subsidized taxi program for the disabled; and WHEREAS the Agreement between the City and Decatur Taxi, Inc., lists the schedule of fares to be charged by the cab company, and to be reimbursed by the City; and WHEREAS on October 17, 2000, the City Council approved an amendment to the Agreement with Decatur Taxi, Inc., increasing the rate charged for the first 1/l Oth mile from $1.50 to $2.00; and WHEREAS Decatur Taxi, Inc., has requested that the mileage rate portion of their fares charged under the Transit System's subsidized taxi program for the disabled be increased from $1.00 per mile to $1.15 per mile(i.e. from $0.10 per 1/lOth mile to $0.115 per 1/lOth mile). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the Amendment to the Agreement presented to the Council herewith between the City of Decatur and Decatur Taxi, Incorporated, regarding participation in the City's subsidized taxi program for the disabled be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest said Amendment on behalf of the City of Decatur.
