EXHIBIT C <br /> SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br /> This proj ect shall consist of the reconstruction of a portion of the Maryland Street <br /> pavement for the following limits: the west terminus shall be the west property line of the <br /> JDN property thence easterly to the existing west radius point of the Airport Plaza Drive <br /> intersection with Maryland Street (approximately 690 lineal feet). The reconstruction <br /> shall consist of the following: the complete removal of the existing pavement; the <br /> excavation, compaction and preparation of the subgrade; the modification of the subgrade <br /> using lime stabilization; the installation of the required storm sewers and appurtenances <br /> to provide drainage for the new pavement and adj acent public rights of way; the <br /> installation of curb and gutter (B6:18) on both sides of the new pavement; the <br /> construction of a new 36 foot wide pavement (edge of curb to edge of curb) to be built <br /> either as a concrete pavement with 8 inch thiclaiess or as an asphalt pavement of 11 inch <br /> thickness, the backfilling and grading of all disturbed earth surfaces, the construction of <br /> concrete driveway approaches at all private driveways, the construction of a new <br /> intersection with Ment Drive and the seeding of all disturbed earth surfaces. Incidental to <br /> all construction will be the traffic control signing and barricading. All work will be done <br /> in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Standard <br /> Specifications. <br />
