Review historical water use data. <br /> d. Estimate water requirements 25 years into the future. Develop a graphical depiction <br /> of water demands versus time over the 25-year period. <br /> e. Review and utilize City Master Plan to guide growth evaluations. <br /> f. Estimate water use in undeveloped parts of Decatur utilizing planning and projected <br /> zoning information. <br /> g. Evaluate water demands in the existing water distribution system. Use water use <br /> records from the City's water meter reading routes to re-estimate the distribution of <br /> demands within the existing system. <br /> For communities outside of the Decatur Service area boundary, utilize existing information to <br /> determine the current and projected water demands for water purchased from Decatur. <br /> 3. System Inventory <br /> Conduct field testing of the south water plant high lift and Williams Street pumping stations. <br /> This work includes: <br /> a. Review of existing pump information. <br /> b. Review of current operations. <br /> c. Evaluation of existing facilities. <br /> d. Field testing to determine the operating condition of the existing distribution system <br />' pumps. <br /> 4. Raw Water Supply <br /> Review and summarize the existing reports that evaluate the availability of water from the <br /> Sangamon River for Decatur and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). Discuss the adequacy of the <br /> river supply. Include information regarding the City's remote well field. <br /> 5. Service Area Boundary <br /> Develop a water system service area boundary based on City planning documents and <br /> information available from the OWNER and the planning area for the Sanitary District of <br /> Decatur.
