Funds exist in
the current budget for this equipment and will not result in additional appropriation.
JiTSTIFICATION FROM SOLE 50URCE PROVIDER: The costs of the IBM equipment are
established by IBM. Levi, Ray & Shoup, (of Springfield, Il.) is an authorized IBM business
partner who has performed service on the AS/400 computer and has full knowledge of its
configuration and design.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of staff that the specified equipment be
purchased through Levi, Ray & Shoup and that they be authorized to perform the installation as
specified in their proposal.
