"' Tr,�3 f;o.,1 ��p•9t,;t t.rr1S RECORO�.D AT d" 'L�� � tooU �u� i � a s� 2 s �y-�0 e G. �/�/�/� �(, ��'�►� O INANCE NO. 2004-47 � _ �RECORDER AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 2222 SANDS DRIVE - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Kerwin Grider and Vicki Grider, requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Lot Seventy-One (71) of Huston Forest Acres, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 350 of the records in the Recorder's Of�ce of Macon County, Illinois. (Commonly known as 2222 Sands Drive, Decatur, IL); and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, _ WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, I, approved. ! Section 2. That said territory hereinabove descnbed, along with all parts of public _ highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same - are hereby, annexed to and aze incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
