* <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 200�-38 <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PARK <br /> -ANNUAL SUMMER BLUES CONCERTS - <br /> WHEREAS, for the past several years a Suminer Blues Concert program has been held in <br /> Central Park; and, <br /> WHEREAS, as written in City Code Chapter 52, Section 8, Temporary Permit, it is the <br /> intention of a local not-for-profit agency to sponsor a Summer Blues Concert and to offer beer <br /> and wine for sale to patrons for consumption at each event; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express <br /> approval of the City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the local <br /> not-for-profit agency and of the City of Decatur tha.t such consumption of alcoholic liquor as <br /> described be permitted for said limited time period. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such days, between the hours listed <br /> opposite each, only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be consumed in Central Park <br /> located in downtown Decatur, said days and hours being particularly described as follows: <br /> Thursday, June 17, 2004 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only <br /> Thursday, July 15,2004 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only <br /> Thursday, August 19, 2004 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beer and Wine Only <br />
