FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> #2004 - 11 <br /> Apri18, 2004 <br /> MEMO TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Steve Garman, City Manager � � <br /> Beth Couter, Director of Financial Management i.)� <br /> SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriation for Fiscal Year 2003-2004 <br /> Attached is a supplemental appropriation for the Mass Transit Fund for the fiscal year <br /> 2003-2004, for funding received after the passage of the Appropriation Ordinance, approved on <br /> July 7, 2003. <br /> The Mass Transit costs are running ahead of the budgeted amount for transportation and <br /> insurance costs. This supplemental appropriation will allow the system to use a portion of the <br /> beginning fund balance to pay those costs in excess of the budgeted amount. <br />
