Highcock requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> The South 132 f�et of the North 528 feet of the NE Quarter of the Southwest <br /> Quarter, (Except the East 200 feet and Except the Street), of Section 20, <br /> Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M., Macon County, Illinois. <br /> Containing four(4) acres, more or less; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City <br /> and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality, <br /> and, _ - <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY - <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: - - _ <br /> Section 1. That�said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public <br /> � highways therein or next and adjacerit thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same <br /> are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation. � <br />
