Newell, P.E., City Engineer� <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Authorizing the Installation of Stop Signs at the Intersection of <br /> Division Street and Church Street <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Traffic and Parking Commission recommends the approval of the attached Ordinance <br /> authorizing the installation of an all-way stop at the intersection of West Division Street and <br /> North Church Street. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> At the February 11, 2004, meeting of the Traffic and Parking Commission, the Commission <br />� approved a request from the GM Square Neighborhood for the installation of an all-way stop at <br /> the intersection of West Division Street and North Church Street. The request was aimed at <br /> assisting with crime reduction efforts in the area. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: - No objections are anticipated. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Traffic and Parking Commission <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 <br /> The City Engineer, Matt Newell, will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br />
