'i °C �a � I � �� <br /> ° __. . . �����.� � �..�.� : l. .; <br /> -� <br /> ��r�a� ___ r��t�� <br /> �i ;...,�t;i�, <br /> Afacon Courdy <br /> That This Instrum��x�����'��:' <br /> Ft�carel At .._._.._Q_,:.��,.AM.,......... ,.... <br /> FE� 2 4 ?�f14 <br /> ��;rv�,,�...+� v "�;,, <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2004-04 ����-�h�h���'carde` <br /> AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT OF WAY <br /> - ADJACENT TO 3945 EAST PARK LANE - <br /> WHEREAS, a request has been received from Christopher Cary and Florence Cary <br /> requesting vacation by the City Council of right of way adjacent to 3945 East Park Lane, said <br /> right of way being more particularly described as follows: � � <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corne� of Lot 22 of Lake Park Place Addition, as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 536; Page 104 of the records in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; thence Northwesterly,along the West line of said Lot 22 <br /> extended a distance of 7 feet; thence Easterly.to a point on the North line of said <br /> Lot 22, said point being 40 feet Northeasterly from the point of beginnuig; thence <br /> Southwesterly to the point of beginning, containing 138.4 square feet; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said right of way is no longer useful to the public or to the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said right of way and the <br /> public will be relieved from any further burden or responsibility for maintaining said right of way. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the above described right of way be, and the same is hereby, vacated as <br /> right of way inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will <br /> be subserved by such vacation, said right of way being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached <br /> and hereby made a part hereof. <br />
