Oakley, Jr. and John W. Flora requesting the vacation by the City Council of the unimproved portion of Green Meadow Drive located north and between 4766 East Powers Boulevard and 4804 East Powers Boulevard, being more particularly described as follows: The 50 foot by 135.3 foot section of land located between lots 13 and 14 of the Golf Course Addition as per plat recorded in Book 300 on Page 381 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, commonly known as Green Meadow Drive. I WHEREAS, said easement is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owners of property abutting thereon and the public interest will be subserved by vacating said easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described portion of said unimproved street be, and the same is hereby, vacated as public street inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the ' public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of said streets being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2. That the benefits which will be accrued to the owners of abutting property by � reason of the vacation aforesaid is deterniined to be, in the judgment of the Council, equal to the _ sum of Three Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ninety Dollars ($3,890.00).
