' <br /> �.,���o,,��...t� <��� <br /> ��,v 2 Eh �„Recorde� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY , <br /> - 1907 COOPER DRIVE - <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to 'I <br /> the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Dennis A. Durbin, requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> The East 100.3 feet of Lot Nineteen (19) and the West 30.3 feet of Lot Eighteen <br /> (18) of Cooper's Second Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 1405 Page 16 of <br /> the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated <br /> town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public <br /> highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same <br /> are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation. <br />
