� . � 1 ' _ 1 ' - f <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City <br /> and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove descnbed, along with all parts of public ' <br /> highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same � <br /> are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a ', <br /> municipal corporation. ' <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and hereby made a part � <br /> hereof. <br /> Section 4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively <br /> filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> Section 5.
