<br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE
<br /> - CHAPTER 7 - OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY -
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois,
<br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 2, as so modified and
<br /> amended, shall provide as follows:
<br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have the
<br /> power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Deputy City Manager,
<br /> Assistant City Managers, Assistant to the City Manager, all directors of
<br /> departments, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel above the rank of
<br /> sergeant, division managers, administrative secretaries, members of the Legal
<br /> Department, Personnel Specialists, Trainuig Officer, Human Relations Specialists,
<br /> Systems Administrator, Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Risk
<br /> Management Assistant, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant City
<br /> Engineer, Civil Engineer I, Civil Engineer II, Fleet Supervisor, Water Production
<br /> Operations Supervisor, Water Production Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering
<br /> Technician Supervisor, CAD System Coordinator, Lake Manager, Water
<br /> Distnbution Supervisor, Traf�c and Pazking Supervisor, City Forester, Foreman,
<br /> Economic Development Coordinator, Building Inspections Manager, Senior
<br /> Planner, Planners, Planning Manager, Transportation Planner, Environmental
<br /> Programs Specialist, Neighborhood Planner, Senior Crime Analyst, Crime Analyst,
<br /> Emergency Communications Supervisors, Neighborhood Renewal Administrator,
