The preliminary project schedule is: <br /> Claricone Design March 2016 — February 2017 <br /> Permitting & Bidding March 2017— October 2017 <br /> Construction October 2017 —January 2019 <br /> In 2019, after the East clarifiers are converted, their performance will be evaluated along with an <br /> update to the City's projected water demand. City staff will then report these findin�s to the City � <br /> Council, including a proposal to convert one or both of the West clarifiers if need be. <br /> The preliminary design and construction cost estimate to convert the West clarifiers is $11.3M. � <br /> If both West clarifiers are constructed, the preliminary project schedule is: ��, <br /> Claricone Design March 2020—February 2021 <br /> Permitting& Bidding March 2021 — October 2021 <br /> Construction October 2021 —January 2023 <br /> If four claricones are ultimately constructed, the South Water Treatment Plant capacity will <br /> increase from 36 million gallons per day to 40 million gallons.
