Alexander, Director of Water Management �( <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Lake Decatur Basin 6 Dredging- City Project LC 9956 <br /> Establishment of Silt Retention Basin Site Maintenance Advisory Committee and <br /> City Appointees <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Council adopt the attached Ordinance creating a Silt Retention Basin Site Maintenance Advisary <br /> Committee and the attached Resolution appointing two City representatives to the Advisory <br /> Committee. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Council approved of the Advisory Committee, with all the conditions outlined in the attached <br /> Ordinance, on April 16, 2001. The Special Use Permit acquired from Macon County also <br /> requires Council to appoint two City representatives to the Advisory Committee. Staff <br /> recommends that Mr. Stephen Yeager, Water Services Manager and Mr. Joe Nihiser, Lake <br /> Foreman, be appointed to the Committee. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> None foreseen. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> Macon County Board and Oakley Township Board. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: <br /> Keith D.
