Jack Creek, 3303 Chat Drive: Stated that the traffic count could not be right as the
neighborhood children pick up the traffic counters and move them and throw them in people's
yards. Drivers fly up and down his street and feels that stop signs are badly needed. -
Pul Adams, 3299 Chat Drive: Has lived in his residence for 8 years and drivers always speed.
He has a mother who is 76 who walks up and down the sidewalks and if a driver looses control,
he fears what would happen to his mother.
Penny Hess, 3620 Dove Drive: People go too fast up and down the street. Something needs
to be done.
Wajida Baig, 3657 Dove Drive: There are a lot of little kids in the neighborhood.
Wayne Tidyman, 3588 Plover Drive: Sees a definite need for stop signs. People slow down
when they see the counters. City and school bus drivers are the worst. ,
Michelle Hazelrigg, 3656 Dove Drive: She has a handicapped child who has a right to be ,
protected by the City. As a taxpayer, she does not understand what the big deal is about
putting up a stop sign.
LeShawn Wilson, 3627 Dove Drive: He has a visually impaired daughter and agrees that stop
signs need to be installed. There is nothing in the neighborhoods to slow the traffic down and
there have been too many close calls that have not been reported.
Lisa Reining, 3637 Dove Drive: The accident that occurred at Chat and Dove involved a vehicle
that was going way too fast.
Joseph Lee, 3336 E. Chat Drive: There are a lot of children who are playing both day and
night. Young people under the age of 21 are racing up and down the streets in their cars.
Lisa Lee, 3336 E. Chat Drive: Children ride their bicycles up and down the street and up onto
the berm without ever looking.
Greg Borsay, 3590 Plover Drive: Has lived in his home for 12 years and his youngest son is in
the eighth grade. People park on both sides of the street which means that children dart out
between the cars. Stop signs would help a lot and would avoid an accident like the one that
occurred at Wallace Street last year.
Mike Shelton, 3323 E. Chat Drive: The City Transit bus route is through the Meadowlark
Addition. New housing has increased traffic in the area. Stop signs would help a lot.
Vince Brown, 3326 E. Chat Drive: The statement of there being many children in the area
should warrant stop signs to be installed.
Leda Shelton, 3323 E. Chat Drive: Cars come by fast and she agrees with everyone that stop
signs are needed.
A child accompanying this group stated that she "chooses to play safely".
