<br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE
<br /> - CHAPTER 7 - OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY -
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois,
<br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 2, as so modified and
<br /> amended, shall provide as follows:
<br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have the
<br /> power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Deputy City Manager,
<br /> Assistant City Managers, Assistant to the City Manager, all directors of
<br />, departments, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel above the rank of
<br /> sergeant, division managers, administrative secretaries, members of the Legal
<br /> Department, Personnel Specialists, Training Officer, Human Relations
<br /> Specialists, Systems Administrator, Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst,
<br /> Risk Management Assistant, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant
<br /> City Engineer, Civil Engineer I, Civil Engineer II, Fleet Supervisor, Water
<br /> Production Operations Supervisor, Water Production Maintenance Supervisor,
<br /> Engineering Technician Supervisor, CAD System Coordinator, Lake Manager,
<br /> Water Distribution Supervisor, Traffic and Parking Supervisor, City Forester,
<br /> Foreman, Economic Development Coordinator, Building Inspections Manager,
<br /> Senior Planner, Planners, Pla.nning Manager, Transportation Planner,
<br /> Environmental Programs Specialist, Neighborhood Planner, Senior Crime
<br /> Analyst, Crime Analyst, Emergency Communications Supervisors, Neighborhood
<br /> Renewal Administrator, Neighborhood Standazds Administrator, Neighborhood
<br /> Program Specialist, and Temporary and seasonal employees.
