. � � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2002-85 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 28- <br /> -UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 1-2 of Chapter 28 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, by adding the definition of"sexual <br /> orientation" at the appropriate place therein, and modifying the definition of unlawful <br /> discrimination to include sexual orientation, and relettering other provisions as necessary, said <br /> definitions as added, modified, and relettered to provide as follows: <br /> Section 1-2. <br /> (N) "Sexual Orientation" means having or being perceived as <br /> having an emotional, physical, or sexual attraction to another person without <br /> regard to the gender of that person; or having or being perceived as having an <br /> orientation for such attraction; or having or being perceived as having a <br /> self-image or identity not traditionally associated with one's biological <br /> maleness or femaleness. 'Sexual orientation' does not include a physical or <br /> sexual attraction to a minor by an adult. <br /> (0) "Unfavorable Military Discharge" includes discharges from <br /> the Armed Forces of the United States, their Reserve components or any <br /> National Guard or Nava1 Militia which are classified as RE-3 or the <br /> equivalent thereof, but does not include those characterized RE-4 or <br /> "Dishonorable". <br />
