. � � ORDINANCE NO. 2002-85 ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE - CHAPTER 28- -UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That Section 1-2 of Chapter 28 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, by adding the definition of"sexual orientation" at the appropriate place therein, and modifying the definition of unlawful discrimination to include sexual orientation, and relettering other provisions as necessary, said definitions as added, modified, and relettered to provide as follows: Section 1-2. (N) "Sexual Orientation" means having or being perceived as having an emotional, physical, or sexual attraction to another person without regard to the gender of that person; or having or being perceived as having an orientation for such attraction; or having or being perceived as having a self-image or identity not traditionally associated with one's biological maleness or femaleness. 'Sexual orientation' does not include a physical or sexual attraction to a minor by an adult. (0) "Unfavorable Military Discharge" includes discharges from the Armed Forces of the United States, their Reserve components or any National Guard or Nava1 Militia which are classified as RE-3 or the equivalent thereof, but does not include those characterized RE-4 or "Dishonorable".
