The answer is that it is not prohibited. State law, the <br /> Illinois Human Rights Act(775 ILCS 5/1-101 et seq.), prohibits such discrimination on the basis <br /> of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, marital status, handicap, military status <br /> and unfavorable dischazge from military service. Various federal laws prohibit discrimination on <br /> the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability and military status.
