� . �. � ? � � P�� ' � WHEREAS, said portion of said streets are no longer useful to the public or to the City; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of said streets and the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section l. That the above described portion of said streets be, and the same are hereby, vacated as public streets inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public i��iterest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of said streets being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2. That the benefits which will be accrued to the owner of abutting property by reason of the vacation aforesaid is determined to be, in the judgment of the Council, equal to the sum of Eight Thousand,Nine Hundred-Fifty Dollars ($8,950.00). Section 3. That the vacation herein provided for is made upon the express condition that there shall be paid to the City of Decatur, Illinois, by St. Mary's Hospital only, the sum of $8,950.00 as compensation for the benefits determined as above set out herein, whereu�on such vacation shall become effective and title to said vacated right-of-way shall be vested in St. Mary's Hospital as provided by law. Section 4. That there is hereby reserved in, over, along and under the above-described portion of said streets to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and to the public and to those utilities and companies as the case may be owning public service facilities, mains, sewers, telephone and electrical or other public utilities, such property, rights of way and easements as aze or may be necessary or desirable for continuing public service by means of such facilities and for �he maintenance, renewal and reconstruction thereof with the right of ingress and egress for such purposes.
